Specialization in pneumatics and electropneumaticsSeminar (training product)

Increasingly complex systems and machines require comprehensive knowledge of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic control technology. Whether in design, maintenance or training, in-depth knowledge is important in order to understand functional relationships. There are over 20 ways to control a cylinder - but when do I use which one? How are sequence controls structured and what do I need to bear in mind when using vacuum technology? In addition to technical knowledge, methodical skills are also required. Which process is carried out on the system? What function does a malfunction have? Which components have an influence on this function?

Contents
  • Installation and commissioning of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems
  • Design and function of pneumatic and electropneumatic circuits
  • Sequence controls and sequence safety
  • Solenoid valves and their areas of application
  • Special pneumatic components (various valve terminal types)
  • Generation and provision of vacuum
  • Requesting vacuum to control processes
  • Electropneumatic and electronic control systems
  • Analysis of control tasks using GRAFCET in accordance with DIN EN 60848
  • Operating modes (AUT/MAN/NOT-HALT)
  • Behavior of valves and actuators in the event of power failure and recovery
  • Current standards and regulations
  • Practical exercises
General
Learning Objectives

After this seminar, participants will be able to set up control systems according to circuit diagrams and put them into operation. They will be able to assess the different requirements for pneumatic applications and implement appropriate measures. They will know how sequence controls work and how they are implemented in practice.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge corresponding to our seminar "Fundamentals of pneumatics and electropneumatics" attendance seminar / live online seminar is required.

Remarks
We also offer this seminar as a live online seminar.

In the seminar Maintenance and servicing of mechatronic systems , you will familiarize yourself with the functional relationships of complex machines and systems. You will also learn methods of effective maintenance.
